ORMC Summer sessions are not open to regular ORMC students. They are meant to give other children a taste of the Math Circle culture.
Summer 2022 enrollment is now open. If the interest is substantial, enrollment will be based on results of assessment tests. The time and location of the tests will be announced a bit later right here.
If the Covid-19 situation does not worsen, all the ORMC Summer 2022 classes will be taught in person.
Please do not apply if your child will have to miss more than two classes. Please see the Summer 2022 schedule below.
Please do not apply to the BNP (K-1) class if your child cannot yet read on their own, understand simple word problems or add and subtract two-digit numbers.

All students of age 5 and older as well as all the accompanying adults must be fully vaccinated against the virus at least two weeks prior to the first visit to the UCLA campus. Face coverings are required indoors. If you cannot conform to these regulations, you can only take an online class. The face covering policy will be re-evaluated on 4/11. If there is a policy change, it will be announced here.
All classes take place on Sundays.
All the Advanced and BNP classes are taught in person. At other levels, an A class is taught in person, the corresponding B class is taught remotely. The AMC 10/12 prep class is taught remotely. The Olympiads class is taught in person.
Continuing students: please enroll into the same level you attended in the Winter 2022 unless instructed otherwise. Your enrollment should be instantly confirmed.
BNP is short for Breaking Numbers into Parts, the name of the book the classes are based on.
Donations form a crucial component of the Circle's budget. Donations at the level of $250 per child per quarter are needed to sustain the high quality of our program. Please consider ORMC as a part of your giving plans this season! Donations are not a factor in enrollment decisions and do not entitle your child to enrollment.
ORMC has raised the quarterly suggested donation to $250.
