10/8/2023 -- Intermediate 1A: Week 2: Probability II

Class Logistics:

We will meet from 4 to 6 pm at Math Sciences 6221.

Class Plan:

We will start with a review of basic probability from last week. We will then introduce combinatorics tools and apply them to calculate probabilities.

Required Resources:

Pencils, eraser and scratch paper.

Homework Due:

Finish last week’s handout (Problem 17 is optional).

Homework Assigned:

Attempt problems 1-12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 21.
