2/4/2024 -- Beginners 1B: Binary addition and subtraction, and an introduction to ASCII

We will finish our discussion of binary arithmetic (addition and subtraction, Chapter 28), and then look at how binary coding can be used to represent letters as well as numbers (ASCII, chapter 29). We will not have a quiz.
