10/8/2023 -- Beginners 1B: Chapter 19 - Balance and the abacus

We will talk about binary numbers and the balance scale. I will also review how to do addition and subtraction using an abacus.

Students need to bring their abacii, and green, red, orange and yellow coloring pencils.
