UCLA Olga Radko Endowed Math Circle

Welcome to ORMC

Winter 2022 Session Information

Winter 2022 enrollment is closed.

Dates for the subsequent quarters and academic years are available in the FAQs  section of the web page.

  • Winter session's first meeting: Sunday, January 9th
  • Winter session's last meeting: Sunday, March 6th
  • No classes on Sunday, 2/20, the Presidents' Day weekend

Covid-19 regulations:

All students of age 5 and older as well as all the accompanying adults must be fully vaccinated against the virus at least two weeks prior to the first visit to the UCLA campus. Face coverings are required indoors. If you cannot conform to these regulations, you can only take an online class.

Enrollment information:

  • All classes take place on Sundays.
  • Both BNP classes will be taught in person. At other levels, an A class will be taught in person, the corresponding B class will be taught remotely.
  • Continuing students: please enroll into the same level you attended in the Fall 2021 unless instructed otherwise. Your enrollment should be instantly confirmed.
    • To make the number of the students in the Advanced A and B classes equal, we may move some students from a B class to the A class at the same level.
    • Due to capacity limitations for in-person classes, you may be enrolled in a remote class if the in-person class is full.
    • In-person seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
    • Please apply for admission before December 27.
    • BNP is short for Breaking Numbers into Parts, the name of the book the classes are based on.

Donations form a crucial component of the Circle's budget. Donations at the level of $200 per child per quarter are needed to sustain the high quality of our program.  Please consider ORMC as a part of your giving plans this season!
