10/16/2011 -- LAMC High School: Ruler and Compass Constructions of Regular Polygons -- Prof. Christoph ThieleA regular n-gon is a polygon with n sides of equal length and all angles between
adjacent sides equal. An alternative description is that all corners of a regular n-gon lie
on a fixed circle, and the angle between two adjacent corners, as seen from the center
of the circle, is pi/n .
The theme of this session is to construct different regular n-gons. Handouts: |
